I own my 2nd 300ZX Turbo and I think they are amazing cars. When I saw the 350Z for the first time I was blown away by the styling. BUT, there seems to be 2 MAJOR flaws. No topless version and no turbos. (ok, well a couple other silly things like no leather in top end model… duhhh, what is up with that???) Yes, I realize it already has 280 HP NA but something about saying 300ZX Twin-Turbo just seems to set it apart from other cars. And, although I don't think a t-top would work for the 350Z styling I think a targa top would certainly have been doable; at the very least a large moon roof. Sorry but I have been living in California for the past 2 years… after 35 years of living in Canada… believe me.. topless is a necessity. So, a couple of questions: - does anyone know if any of these "required" changes may be in the works for 2004 models? I suppose they couldn't let this slip or it might affect 2003 sales??? - does anyone know what is on the inside of the roof center and would it be possible to cut a moon roof into a 350Z? - does anyone know if an aftermarket turbo system would be doable?
