To your comments on the nissan vers mazda, I think you are counting chickens before they hatch. First, Don't think that a car with 37 hp more will for sure beat another. Look at the Hondas and Toyotas with their VVT motors... Also Like you said, weight will play a good part. Four doors is no indicator of weight overall. And from what I see is that the RX8 is a 50/50 weight distibution, means performance and handling. Look at todays cars with 225 hp and they are faster than some older cars with 300 hp. Hp, Torque, Weight, Wt distibution, Motor types,Gears All have a play in it. Plus, cost? Is it in the same catagory? The Honda 2000 is not at 5 grand more. It will be interesting to see. So don't make any big bets yet.
